The Birth and Growth of Ilm Nexus
Ilm Nexus was founded on May 10th, 2025, with a clear vision to empower youths through digital skills, knowledge sharing, and community-driven initiatives. Since its establishment, Ilm Nexus has recorded significant
milestones in training, mobilization, and student engagement across multiple campuses and states. These achievements have been made possible through the dedication and commitment of individuals who believed in the
vision from the very beginning.
Acknowledgements
Special appreciation goes to Mr. F. Tihamiyyiu Adedolapo, who stood firmly with the founder from day one. His strategic input, late-night discussions, and valuable suggestions—including contributions to the formation of the Ilm Nexus name—played a foundational role in shaping the organization.
Ilm Nexus also recognizes Mrs. Alia Abdulrasheed, the first Academic Coordinator, whose leadership opened the organization’s journey into academic conferences and structured engagements. Through her coordination, Ilm Nexus successfully held its first conference at Kwara State University (KWASU) on July 10th, 2025, marking a historic milestone.
Further appreciation is extended to Honourable President, Mrs. Sarah D. Shehu, who assumed leadership as Ilm Nexus KWASU President in July 2025. Her passion and dedication led to her expanded role as Community Manager, and she successfully coordinated the Ilm Nexus KWASU Workshop 2.0, strengthening student participation and community impact.

As part of a strategic move to ensure sustainability, efficiency, and national expansion, Ilm Nexus has undergone a formal organizational restructuring. The organization now operates through the following teams:

Following this restructuring, the founder, Miqdad Bada Akorede, has officially stepped down from the roles of Chairman and National Coordinator.
